Seamless change of hardware (sound units)
Hi
What is recommended when using different sound units on a MacBook (or laptop)? I find it a bit frustrating that I have to change hardware setup each time I'm return to studio (where I use 2 sound units) after using my MacBook Pro outside studio (using the internal sound card for editing). Is there a way to make it more intelligent? I've tried to find it in the manuals with no success. Thanks :) |

Re: Seamless change of hardware (sound units)
muti-boot is the only thing I can think of
1 OS for internal 1 OS for your hardware

Hold down 'N' when you launch Pro Tools and you can enter the hardware dialog before the whole thing loads up.
