Exclamation AIR and Internet Explorer 8
I posted some info on the blog a few weeks ago that IE8 on the PC was causing some users to find AIR VIs not loading. There still seems to be threads with users battling this issue, with some having no problems. Just a heads up if you are having freeze on load issues on a PC.

DTS any chance you could do a sticky of this until it's resolved, I know the reality is that unless it is shown in system specs as qualified it should go without saying, but as we all know this isn't always the users first route. Forewarned etc...

This has now been fixed in the 8.03 release

Russ, I apologize in advance as I realize this is being extremely picky, but I am thinking of the users that might get further confused by this:

The update is not 8.03, it is 8.0.3..

If PT ever makes it to version 8.3, well who knows what controversies might occur..

Be specific - have you checked the read-me? Some of the AIR stuff is still not fixed. See above

Item#114343 Pro Tools and IE8 was never the problem. The problem was with those plug-ins listed. It has not been fixed. But I see from the Read Me that the issue is being worked on for a future plug-in release.

So from what is being said 8.0.3 on XP with IE8 is screwed but 7.0 is not?
