setting up 2 CM Labs Motormix units with 002R help.
I need help setting up 2 CM Labs Motormix units with my 002R. I have used one for years and just bought another. Do I need an extra midi device or can I use the midi ports on the 002R?

Re: setting up 2 CM Labs Motormix units with 002R help.
You need midi ports for both motormixes.
I have a midisport 2x2 that works great using Windows XP for 4 additional midi ports. You set up each bank of midi the same way in peripherals. The way you add the motormix, you just add the second motormix like the first, but set it up for banks 9-16. I thought that the "connection" opart of the motormixes was more for continuity rather than communication. I could be wrong though.

Thats what I suspected. I was hopping there was a workaround. Thanks, I will pick up a midisport.
