Default Leaving MBox turned on all the time

Is it ok to leave my MBox turned on all the time that my computer is turned on or should I disconnect it and the ilok key when not in use? Thanks in advance, Tim

Should be ok to leave it on all the time. I leave my systems on in my studio all the time and have never had any prob's. I run high end power conditioners also to prevent surges and what not though, so just make sure you have some form of power surge protector if you want to leave it on all the time. Its just like any other piece of electronic equipment though.

My 001 runs 24/7/365. No problems after 1 year, 3 months.

Tim,

I usually have my computer on about 14-15h a day and the Mbox is always connected. I haven't noticed any problems with my setup or heard about anyone else having problems with it connected all the time.

anyhow a good no-break is a must,
not only for protection,
but to have some minutes to save your work,
if you run out of energy.
