Default error -9129 /-9093 and \"increase/decrease buffer\"

yo,
i just got a mbox 2. im having problems. when i have a session opened and im playing back or recording, i constantly get these errors.

"DAE error -9129 or -9093 and "increase or decrease the buffer size" errors"

if i increase the buffer size to 2048. it stops and tells me to decrease the buffer size. if i go on lower to 1024, it stops and tells me to raise the buffer size. im really confused and dont know what to do. i pretty much close everything while im on pro tools so my cpu usage is as low as possible. anybody run into this problem? anyone know what to do?

thanks
nick

These problems are usually solved with the suggestions in the General Troubleshooting thread (especially the compatibility and configuration suggestions). If not, post back with the details of your system as directed at the end of that thread, and we can better help you troubleshoot the problem.
