Assistant Engineers rates?
Hi guy's just a quick question - what would you deem as the going rate for an assitant engineer per hour and aiming at working around 30 hours per week.
This assitant engineer (me) has a a degree in sound engineering and design and passed that with good results nearly 18 months ago and knows well his way around a studio and can basically get on with things quite well. He also displays potential to develop much further - also the other things is in this part of the world, Rio de Janeiro, there arent too many people with degree's in the above mentioned? I'd be very interested to know what you guy's think so I can reference it when we get round to discussing it. One other thing is the guy's not got a major shortage of money or anythign so that shouldnt come into the equation so much. Thanks!
