Default End-of-day process

What is the recommended 'end-of-day' S6 best practice?

My guess would be leave all power on but Shift-FADERS OFF to darken board/disable faders?

I assume this increases the life of some components.

The S6 MTM has a sleep mode where everything goes dark after a bit when nothing is active.

Closing ProTools sessions and DADMan will remove any active faders.

S6 sleeps displays and LEDs to save them and power. Generally speaking leaving electronics running (at the same temperature) prolongs life....but isn't very green

when leaving for the night, i always leave my S6 in "Screening Mode" (/Settings/System/Brightness/). then simply touch the MTM screen the next morning to wake it up.

Screening Mode - which can also be triggered via SHIFT + Faders Off on the numeric section of the Automation Module. I agree with Eddie. My S6 is usually up for several months without a shutdown.

Thank you - I’m rarely the last or first to touch it and I’ve always done Shift-FADERS OFF and was curious if that was even needed.
