Default Runnig SampleCell(s) on a separate Mac

I have heard that there is a way to connect SampleCell Cards on one computer into a MIDI configuration of another. In other words, running one's sequencer program on one Mac and being able to access the SampleCell cards in another Mac through some peculiar set-up.

How would one go about configuring it?
Midi Manager? OMS? MIDI Config?

Thanks in advance!

In a nutshell, you put a MIDI Interface on each computer and connect them with a MIDI cable, then configure OMS on each computer (one to send, the other to recieve).

Computer A = sequencer, Computer B = SampleCell(s):

1) Define Computer B as a device in your OMS Setup on Computer A. Enable all the MIDI channels you want the SC to respond to, it's multitimbral, it's not a Controller, and it doesn't support MIDI Time Code, MIDI Beat Clock, or MIDI Machine Control.

2) Computer B needs either a software app or a MIDI Interface that supports MIDI Patches to provide MIDI Thru to the SC. The SC Editor can provide MIDI Thru, but only on 1 channel at a time (all MIDI input gets channelized to the currently selected Instrument's channel). Pro Tools or a sequencer could be used to provide 16ch of MIDI Thru instead. Alternatively, a MIDI Interface that supports MIDI Patches with OMS (e.g. Studio 5) could be used.

3) Run a MIDI cable from Computer A's MIDI Interface output to Computer B's MIDI Interface input.

If this too confusing (or not enough detail!), please let us know...
