Default System Overload (error 10011)

Hello, I have searched all archives for details on the 10011 error message. All (possible) answers seem to apply to Mac only - I use a PC.

This error occurs using Logic audio and the Direct I/O. I've tried buffer sizes in the DIGI, win Vcache settings, I've enabled DMA, Audio on separate drive, CD notification disabling, updating the easimme.dll of emagic (though I've now diabled PC AV as well), I've put the Virtual cache on the system hard drive to prevent it from affecting the drive dedicated to audio, etc. and I have followed the DIGI set-up instructions to the letter.

I have searched all tweaks across the web for this and have come up with nothing.

Does anyone have an answer? It isn't a drastic problem as I've learned to simply uncheck the recording tracks in Logic when the message comes up and selecting them again afterwards. This works but makes me a little nervous should I decide to record and not just play.

I use Logic Audio 4.6, the DIGI 001 with Protools LE 5.01, Win98SE, AGP Prophet II graphics card, Adaptec 2904 Fast SCSI, CD-ROM Yamaha on the SCSI with a Iomega 1Gb JAZ, PC3-E Asus motherboard with Intel 820 chipset and a TB Pinnacle (rev F compatible).

The only thing in my set-up which I suspect could be a problem is the Pinnacle which uses an ISA slot. Could this be slowing it all down and causing the overload? I'm reluctant to chuck the Pinnacle as I have done a lot of work with this card and want to keep it as a reference when I transfer the sounds to address the outboard module 2) Could it be that I need to swap the SCSI card with the DIGI? (DIGI is in PCI slot 1 and the SCSI card in slot 2)

Any input would be gratefully appreciated.

PS I have contacted both the e-magic and DIGI representatives in my country who have each said it is the other's problem!!
