Absolutely. I have been using V-Control and my iPad to remotely control PT for several iterations of PT. I find it most useful to be able to control PT record and playback while in the studio and away from the console and keyboards, nice freedom. I haven’t found it as useful for local control, editing, etc. during mixdown or while at the console.
I have V-Control Pro 1 on my iPad (App store) and V-Control Pro on the Power Mac, set to open at startup, and PT configured in the MIDI setup to use V-Control per their instructions.
Works well... YMMV

Same here. We used V Control Pro with PT10HD with ipad4 retina and OSX 10,8,5 and it worked great. The Avid Control wont work but Neyrinck VC Pro works very well instead for HD10 so you won’t be disappointed with that utility. Install on the computer and on the iPad and you will find detailed stepbystep setup instruction videos are on the Neyrinck website and it is an easy setup that takes less than 15 minutes if you follow along the videos.
