That is without having to go through new group dialog and renaming etc.?

I don't know if it's a shortcut, but it's the only way I know:
1. highlight the tracks you want to have in the new group 2. select the "create new group" option 3. instead of creating a new group name, highlight the group LETTER (a, b, c, etc.) and select it. It will include the selected tracks in the existing group name. I hope that's what you were looking for... ------------------ LW
