Akai MPK 49 and PT 7.3.1 aren't playing nice

I just purchased the MPK 49 and currently I only have 2 of the many soft synths loaded that I recently purchased. I've been trying to get things running but the system seems to be pretty unstable so far.

I can operate M-Audio Key Rig in standalone mode for a short period of time before it freezes and hangs on the last Midi note played. I get no sound at all out of it in Pro Tools, and it also eventually freezes in RTAS mode too.

I also am not able to trigger and sounds through Expand, it too will freeze after a short while.

I have both the MPK 49 and an M-Audio Trigger finger installed, niether interface is able to trigger any sounds inside of ProTools.

I have a brand new machine which I thought would be a Beast but so far is acting like a Panzy.

I'm also experiencing strange behaviours with MPD32 (MPK without keys).
Setting the clock for note repeat is totally bugged !
