Had this verified by Digi. Has this already been discussed? Take a region, change volume of the whole region. Trimming either the start or end of the region loses that breakpoint and ruins the volume. Changing the track to "sample based" doesn't help in my case. Fairly major bug. Any thoughts?

You're using the Trim tool? Or dragging top/end breakpoints with Grabber?
what does "ruin volume" mean? Thanks, -tv

Sorry I should have expressed myself better:
1. Select an audio region on a tick audio track by double clicking in it. 2. Switch to volume view and using the trimmer tool reduce the volume of the region in one go. This way the two volume breakpoints, front & end, are now "embedded" in the region, and if the region is moved, copied etc, the volume automation comes with it. That part we all know. 3. OK so now put it back to waveform view, and using the trimmer tool, change the length of the region, either from its beginning or end. 4. Now check what happened to the volume change you made before: depending on whether you trimmed the beginning or end of the region, the beginning or end volume breakpoint is back at zero, giving you a diagonal line instead of a horizontal line. Hello,
I have just checked this with my 6.7LE system and it is working fine here! if i change the selection length in samples mode the breakpoint moves with the selection edit, if i change the selection length in tick mode it creates a new breakpoint from the selection boundary and also leaves the original breakpoint in place. I'll check this tomorrow on my HD system 6.7. Regards Chris
