Any recommendations for Mac CD burning software for producing the finished product that is ready for replication?
PS: I've seen that Adaptec Jam has been recommended, but I can't find this product. At Adaptec's web site they say that Roxio is now supporting Jam, but can't find it there either. |

The functions Jam offered were merged into Toast a few years ago.

WaveLab version 7(in addition to the other options). They offer a $99 version that leaves out surround and some other features, but its still worth a look.

Logic is only $199 these days, too. Worth a punt if you are on a Mac.

Unless I need to create a continually flowing track with track marks (so no pause or 2 second silence/count in)... I just name my files in order (01 Intro, 02 It begins, 03 the 3rd track, etc) and drag them to a disk and hit eject.... It will allow you to name the disc and tell it how fast to burn. Hit OK and off it goes... no software needed... one of the many benefits of MAC... However if you want a CD burning software that allows adjustments and options, etc... Nero is great on PC and Toast has been the standard for MAC.

AFAIK, Wave Burner is EOL'd and does not come with the App store version of Logic, only the retail DVD installs.
Better check before buying it. kasper |
