How to use HDX Card, when GCard takes both power connectors...

My apologies, I made a mistake before, the new video card has a single 8 pin port, not 2.


Those cables you linked would power the video card, not the HDX card, am I right?


My plan was to power the video card using a 2 x mini 6 pin (from the Mac Pro motherboard ports) to 1 x 8 pin on the GPU. That leaves the HDX card needing power.


I'm now on the hunt for the original PC power cable for the HDX card, in hope of adapting that to one of the SATA bays. Molex to SATA apparently would work, and those I have several of already.
