Default MacOS Ventura 13.2 Compatibility

On the Pro Tools compatibility page, it says that PT is compatible with Ventura 13.1. Does anyone know if it works with 13.2 ? I'd like to do a system update, but I don't want to shoot myself in the foot, and it seems to be the only Ventura version I can get.

This site will get you the full Apple installers for previous versions. I’ve run into this myself before where the available OSX update has passed what AVID says is compatible. I’d rather play it safe and get the exact version, I did exactly that for my current set up on Monterey. The website uses the original installers from Apple. Hope this helps.

I don't work for Avid, but in most cases a (dot) upgrade -- that is to say from 13.1 to 13.2 -- will not introduce anything that will throw a wrench in the wheel of compatibility. In fact, that compatibility page may have been written when 13.1 was the newest version of Ventura available and they've simply not (yet) updated the page. Again, this isn't anything official, just how past OS updates have tended to work with PT.

Yes, seems fine here. But I ask every little of the software; stock plugins and small sessions...

You might want to list your system

On both my 2020 Intel iMac studio system (listed below) and my 2022 M1 Pro MBP
I am running Ventura 13.2.1 with no issues

I you don't use the Avid Cloud collaboration stuff, and don't need Avid Link, and can just use the Avid site for things, then it's no problem. Many of us uninstall these things because we can do perfectly well without them.

As an update, I've been using Ventura w/ PT 2023.3 for a while and it's been smooth sailing.
