Upgrade from 12.4 to 2019
I'm in the process of potentially moving from PT 12.4 on High Sierra to PT 2019 on Mojave.
Couple of questions. First, could I actually run 12.4 on Mojave? From what I've read it's hit or miss on this. Second, if I update to 2019, could I still pass sessions back and forth with someone who is still on 12? Thanks. |

Re: Upgrade from 12.4 to 2019
No. Compatibility info here.
Yes, PTX sessions work with 10.0.0 and later. Obviously if you use some new feature it will be dropped when you open in older version.

Re: Upgrade from 12.4 to 2019
JFreak: Thank you on the PTX clarification. A rep at a major music retailer here in the US claimed I would not be able to go backward once I got 2019. Totally understand on the new features being dropped.
