Default Pro Tools 11 Courseware (Avid Learning)

So far there is one book in the Avid Learning series for Pro Tools 11 (Pro Tools 101). Does anyone know if the Pro Tools certification will be updated to PT 11 and if the accompanying books/courseware will also be updated? As of now everything still seems geared around PT 10.

Thanks,
Mark

Yes, all of the courseware and exams are being updated for Pro Tools 11. We're a bit slow to the punch unfortunately, but most of it is already done. More info to come very soon.

Will details of what's available be announced when they are ready, or do we just have to keep checking?

Any news on whether Avid are going to publish a hard copy reference manual for PT11? Avid never published a PT10 reference manual.

Writing's on the wall. I don't expect to see any hardcopies anymore. It was like 10 years ago when it was important. Now that we all (?) have our iPads it's a no-brainer to load that pdf and read it with a search functionality :)

Prefer hard copy myself ... guess I'll have to print the pdf ... not as nice as a properly bond manual though.

Perhaps your do-it-yourself copy is better? I have never gotten a properly bond reference manual from Avid, and I do have several (5.1, 6.4, 7.2, 8.0). Those are glued piles of paper that break very easily, and frankly, I'm not so sure if I wanted to buy one anymore.
