Default 003 Rack - Upgraded from Mbox 2 and need to know how to play system audio?

Hey,

I saw another person posted something similar to this but my question is slightly different, I just upgraded from an Mbox 2 and had all the drivers installed etc but I was given this 003 but with no CD so wanna know if there is a certain driver I need to be able to play audio from.. say Itunes. It works perfectly fine when pro tools is running though?

Please Help!!!

There are other ways to go about it but what I find to be the best is to use a 1/8 in to rca cable. I plug the 1/8 into my mac headphones jack and the other end into the ( alt source ) inputs on the back of the 002 . Then when I want to hear something from itunes while using pro tools I just launch itunes / and press the alt source button on the front of the 002

Do a search for "Digi Core Audio Manager" or DCAM.

Its always been giving people trouble, me too, so I too decided on the easy way of connecting the analogue output of my mac to my interface.
