Structure Free not showing in 12.7.1

I seem to remember that this happened before, but cannot find that workaround anymore.

Re-installed the AIR VI Bundle again and for sure there is a Structure.aaxplugin in my folder, but it doesn't show up. Xpand, Boom and all other friends are there...

Any ideas?

First thing – save your existing Structure/Structure Free User Presets to somewhere retrievable, to be returned after you’ve installed your correct version of Structure.

You can have either Structure Free or Structure in Pro Tools 12 – but not both together.
If you own the full version of Structure, you don’t need Structure Free.

If you don’t own the full version of Structure, uninstall it and remove the plug-ins.
Next time you launch Pro Tools, Structure Free (included in Pro Tools 12) will be added.

For those who own the full version of Structure, the procedure is to install Pro Tools, delete Structure Free and its Content, then install the full version of Structure.

You are incorrect. If for some reason it doesn't install on PT launch, go to Applications folder and double-click on PT app, show package content, copy the .aaxplugin from that plugin folder to the /Library plugin folder

My bad, it must then be in the AIR installer that is separate from PT installer. You should find it from your Avid Account

That's correct.

For Structure Free, look in your Avid Account under “Pro Tools Plug-ins” for AIR Instruments Bundle 12.0 Installer.
It’s grouped with AIR Effects Bundle 12.0 Installer and Xpand II 12.0 Installer.

Couldn't extract the Structure Free AAX.pkg, so simply installed the whole shebang again and low and behold: Structure Free is back!

In Your AVID Link, Look for the Air instruments Bundle 2018.10 it's in that update/download.

1. you are replying to a post from way back in 2017.

2. (for other users) this advice won't work for anybody running native on Apple Silicon as Structure Free has been abandoned and is not supported there.

3. if you are relying on Avid Link for anything it is likely part of the problem you are having
