Fades Dialog
This just show how seldom i use the fades dialog, but anyways...
I select a portion of the audio region i wish to create a fade in on, and select "create fade", but fade preset 5 and 6 is grayed out. Can't select them. Why? Are they secret fades?  Are the only available on HD?Been through the manual, but can't find the answer. btw. im on PT8, original mbox. Best regards, Bobbers

Hi,
There are 2 kind of (cross)fades : - Equal power (mainly used for unaudible crossfades) - Equal gain Some fades shapes are not available in "power" mode ; so select "gain".
