Bizarre MBox2 iMac Power Problem

Hello,

I'm having a strange problem. I have a recent iMac and an MBox 2 Pro. When I switch on some other bits of equipment in my setup, the MBox 2 Pro loses its connection with the Mac. Core audio stops working. And if I have PT open I get constant Buffer Under Run messages. Basically, I can't play anything and have to reset the computer.

I have a Furman power conditioner. I have tried using different power sockets. The electrics have been checked in the flat by an electrician.

I have tried it so that there is absolutely no connection between the bit of equipment switching on and the MBox 2 Pro.

Occasionally it seems to happen randomly.

I don't have this problem with any other soundcard/ computer combo in my place.

Any ideas? It's driving me mad.

It's not clear if you're doing so, but it's recommended that you NOT use the Mbox 2 Pro power supply...just let it run on bus power.
