That will be the test I think - how does it SOUND live. Boss GT 10, Pod X3 Live - seems like just another one of those, but without foot control included so you'll still need to buy something to control it while on stage.

My only beef with it is the digital options. If it had an ADAT which I could hook up my DigimaxFS to, I would understand. Because I would use the Eleven Rack for guitar stuff, and the DigimaxFS for everything else and then still be able to use it with my actual guitar rig if i wanted.

And I think that's probably their aim. First-time buyers who are guitar players first. If you look at it this way, it's not really a bad idea. It provides a no-latency recording environment(that, actually beats any other LE device. You know, not counting the 'live' monitoring technique of the smaller hardware pieces). It has a mic input, so you can use it to do vocals. It's got two 1/4 inch inputs, so plug in your stereo hardware instrument. It operates as a stand-alone guitar device. And, it looks to be as good sonic device as an 003(r) for less money. Remember, they did say Guitar players: Prepare to change your game... I just hope it sounds better than the plug-in...

I think it's pretty pathetic when Avid promotes 9.23.2009 as the launch date, and because they are on the West Coast, don't bother to get a webmaster up early to catch the East Coast viewers. To see ALL the info on Sweetwater and still see the "Coming Soon" on the companies homepage is a joke.

In Stock at Sweetwater Before the Structure update...sigh

I think folks are missing the point of it being a guitar optimised input device. Or the fact that its zero latency. Or that you can re amp with it while playing. A proper effects loop for vintage gear Add in the ability for total recall at a live gig etc. Its awfull interesting to me.
