Default OT - ..can someone explain the Korg Trinity multiple output configuration..?

Hi DUC,

I have a Korg Trinity workstation and until now I have only needed the outputs 1 & 2 (default L/R stereo outputs). Last night I wanted to assign a sound to outputs 3 & 4 for further processing. It seems those outputs are only accessed thru the Master FX routing..?

Does this mean if I want 4 discrete outputs I lose the internal effects chain..?

Also, can I setup 4 different voices to 4 different outputs..?

Thanks for any help

hmmm, it is sure hard to "be one with the Trinity", the manual is vague and oddly written, for me at least

Hey, at least you have a manual.

You are correct, or at least that's what I've heard. Outputs 3 and 4 are always dry - that's how they made it.

Now if only someone who publish all the MSB and LSB for everything in the Trinity, like the drum presets. . .

..ah bugger, that's what I thought, 4 dry or 2 wet

..try this link, there are plenty of free downloads, including all the original manuals that came with the Trinity.

Sabe:

Thanks for the link. Unfortunately, the PDF version of the midi implementation chart other than the first page is completely blank. I don't know what Korg is doing, but I guess I'm gonna have to write them myself. Now if only they provided an email address at their site. . .
