Hello,
I have an ipad air 2, and I'm using scorch v 1.2.

I'm very happy with that App, I can connect it via bluetooth hi fi adapter : it works great.
Air turn bluetooth page turn, works great.
No problem importing my .sib files from dropbox

But I have 3 Suggestions :

-for the repeats: is it possible in the music stand view mode with a 2 fingers touch to go back to the beginning of the repeat

-Being able to synchronise several Ipad to get simultaneous start and stop
exemple : I have 4 ipads,each one has scorch app installed and stringquatet.sib in his library. I want to play that string quartet in play mode (with sound mute in the mixer), each Ipad has chosen a different part of the score, with simultaneous page turn on each Ipad because of a simultaneous start and stop.
So please, let scorch be able to Host or join a shared session (class)

-being able to create folders in the library of files (I know it has been asked already)

Hi, I'm using Avid Scorch on my iPad to play along with (practising orchestra parts). It would be really good if I could set it to turn the page a bar or so early.

At the moment, it only turns when it gets to the end of the page so you can't see the next page early enough to play along. Other apps turn the page early, so how about Scorch please?

Could the development team create a fix that will make operational the function 'Format Staff Size' ?

Messed up Parts
I've been extensively experimenting with .sib files ( Sib 7) and the iPad Scorch App.
The App resizes staff and lyrics become messed up (collide with staff) when individual part is selected.

Audio Hickups:
Also when soloing tracks in the mixer intermittend all voices are heard and it takes a while to get the audio. Audio shows plenty of "hickups" and the play vertical-line stops and jumps all over the place. Any suggestions?

Score mamagement
We need a tool to group scores in ( choir specific) folders in the library
The shelf orders only alphabetically

Migration tool for large quantities of Scores?
Before I can migrate a choir to App it needs to be a stable platform with easy management features. My singers wont accept an application with plenty of flaws.

Android app coming?
We can hardly expect every choir member to buy an iPad for music only..

I recently upgraded to Sibelius 8.1.1, I make some beautiful scores and export my scores to my iPad and try to import the score into Scorch 1.2

None of my 8.1.1 scores will import into scorch

Has anyone been successful with this import?

I feel that Scorch is being left behind and Avid is focusing all efforts their other "high-end" products. There could be so many cool improvements that could be applied to the Scorch app

Scores created in Sibelius 8 do not import into Scorch 1.2

Is there any word about new Scorch update ?

+1 I would also really like to know about this. I was really disappointed today when I realised none of my Sibelius charts will open in Scorch :-(

I just switched from Finale to Sibelius, partly because there is an iPad app for Sibelius files, (there is no app for Finale files) - but now I realise Sibelius 8 is not suppported yet.

I just found the solution to the Sibelius to Scorch issue. You have to covert the Scorch file to a lower version is Sibelius ("filename for Avid Scorch.sib".

In Sibelius, "File" -> "Export" -> "Avid Scorch"

I do NOT like this solution of creating two *.sib files for one score, but I can now practice my scores on my iPad Pro

Dennis,

Avid scorch was last updated in august 2014. I suggest you also look at the sibelius user forum.

Avid have a poor record at looking at this forum and i wouldnt expect anything soon as scorch is on life support.

There used to be a finale songbook but i see it is no longer listed. It wasnt very good but it was free

Years ago, i switched to forescore and pdf my files and combine with airturn and it is just so much better, only issue is no play back and no on the fly transpose but much better metadata and set list and annotation and and and.

Yes its another step but is just so much better and you only have one sib file.
