HD IO 8x8x8 or other Interface

Still on the fence for Native.
I don't know whether I should go for a HD IO 8x8x8 or a Lynx?

The current events at Avid has shaken my trust in a way that I contemplate to go with a non-proprietary interface.

So what are the benefits of the HD IO?
Is the conversion better than the Lynx Aurora?
Or do you guys have other recommendations (the Omni wouldn't do for me).

In a similar quandary here(but can't afford the move right now). Both options get solid reviews so I bet either will make you happy. The HD IO might offer lower latency to go with the higher price

Actually...could I connect my BLA 002R via Adat (no firewire connected to the PC) to the HD IO 8x8x8 to get another 8 analog channels?

Hey TCM, post what you find with this combination. Can you playback at a H/W Buffer of 64 or 32 samples at 48 kHz?

I ordered this specific audio-overclocked bundle from scan.co.uk.
When I get it back, supposedly of January, I can do the tests.
