You have to see this!!!!!! Apple\'s Soundtrack.

Apple hired the lead programer of Acid look what they did. I hope this comes out as a stand alone program. Wiz

Re: You have to see this!!!!!! Apple\'s Soundtrack.
WOW!
I wasn't expecting that. The demos left me with a number of other questions but it sure looks good for what it's intended to do. I especially like the export tracks feature (sort of like a Bounce to disk for each individual track). I wish we had a simple automated way to do that (we don't right? I'm going to look like an idiot if someone says, "Duh, Edit menu.") and it comes with all the Logic plug-ins. OT: Any mainstream companies come out with any Audio Unit plug-ins? I'm out of the loop in this area.

Hmmm. I don't know. I've been an Acid user for a long time. Plus....eh...Sound Forge. I'm sorry, I must stay loyal!! And I was never really a Final Cut user anyway.
But props to Apple! Looks like it's going to be a great program. |
upgrade to FCP4 or Mach 5??? [/QB]
I'm beginning to loose hope/patience waiting on Mach5. It was supposed to ship in April, now I'm hearing its been pushed back to the end of June. Since they've pushed the release date back 4 times so far, I'm a little skeptical about the current estimated shipping date. Anyone know what's holding up the release of Mach5? |

Wiz <hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">No thats not what I meant. Imagine you could perform a bounce-like function, except the end result was an Aiff file for each track in PT (each instrument extra w/ all effects & fades essentially printed to the final audio). This would be useful if you know someone is going to put the new audio into some unknown multitrack software, but you want to maintain some of your mix.
