Question Pro Tools Essential on Windows 7 w/AMD Athlon II X4 630 Quad-Core

Hello,

The computer I currently use for recording just failed and it is going to the recycle center. It has become out of date anyway, but I cannot afford to replace it. I am in the middle of a project and need to finish it. My associates that I am working on this project with have Pro Tools HD systems. So it makes sense for me to start with the Essential software so we can communicate more efficiently. My question, is the essential software compatible with my other computer?
HP Pavilion p6310f Desktop PC
2.8GHz AMD Athlon II X4 630 Quad-Core
6GB PC3-10600 DDR3 SDRAM
1TB SAT Hard Drive
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OS
What kind of problems am I going to encounter when I install the software?
I have read about a lot of issues with Windows 7 and Pro Tools 8. Public beta drivers not working etc... Thanks...
