I'd have to second that - though I am surprised at the lack of complaints on this one - I found midi on my PC using 9.0.5 to be unusable and midi tracks imported from a friends Mac using also 9.0.5 (who had first turned me on to the midi terrors of 0.5) where out of time and the playback out of pitch.

It was an odd experience. Luckily I keep acronis backups and could go back to 0.3 in less than 15 minutes.

Could be specific things with MIDI you're trying to do - probably more intense than what I do with it, but I haven't had any major problems with 9.0.5. I'm sure if there are issues then Avid is working on it, but as is their practice, we won't learn about it until the next update arrives.

Many things point to Protools 10 being released on Thursday. I have a feeling the 9.05 beta was just to carry us through to that point. Hopefully these things will be fixed in that "real" update.
