ok i have BFD and it only shows up as a rewire

ok i have BFD and it only shows up as a rewire

insert as i installed it to be able to use rewire...but it does not show up under instruments as a stereo insert just multi...how do i get it show up as a stereo insert? i downloaded 1.9 already...thanks for the help
