Play start marker-frustrated
Hi, somehow the playstart marker is manually following the cursor position when I go into record or playback. When I need to stop , go back and drop in I cannot start the recording from that point withoiut manually dragging the blue marker back. It always stays at the point at which I stooped recording, ie the end. This did not happen before and I am unexperienced enough (clearly!) to understand why or how to change it back.

Page 28 of Mac shortcuts...Timeline Insertion follows Playback (enable/disable) N or control N depending on keyboard focus mode. Toggle it and see. You'll find it in setup/preferences/operation/transport as well. Also on page 334 of the PT ref guide...about scrolling options, Timeline Insertion/Play StartMarker Follows Playback button.
