WE just recorded a couple vocal tracks through
ampitube(various settings in ampitube). We were totally impressed with the sound! hal pilot57 http://www.pilot57.com

why not just turn the knobs til you find something you like?
if you are just a preset person try the 'insert fx' presets in the amplitube preset menu as a starting point marcus

Vocal presets for AmpliTube?
I remember that the SamsAmp SA-1 demo had a number of presets for vocals. For the better or the worse, I wound up buying AmpliTube and not SamsAmp, and I was wondering if there are any presets, or recommended settings for vocals with AmpliTube. I'm trying to fatten a lead vocal track.
