macbook not recognizing mbox pro 3 through tbolt?

hello, i just got a brand new MPB and i am setting up all of my audio stuff.

i installed the latest drivers and updates from apple and avid, but when i connect my mbox, nothing happens. its as if it didn't exist.

I use the FW 400-800 adapter that came with the mbox and then from there go into a FW800-Tbolt adapter into the macbook. my computer IS recognizing the that the thunderbolt adapter is plugged in if i go to system report (but it is not seeing the mbox). If i plug my mbox in via the FW400-800 adapter into my old macbook it works perfectly so i know that the AVID FW converter also works.

what could i be doing wrong?

I have a similar setup on my iMac (Mbox 3 Pro with FW400/800 adapter and FW800 Thunderbolt adapter), with Pro Tools 11.0.1.

When you say you installed the latest drivers and updates, does that include the separate Mbox Pro drivers for Pro Tools 11?

ok, so i downloaded Mbox_Pro_OSX_1.2.0 from that link you put up and now everything works!

when i installed the thing originally i just googled "mbox pro 3 drivers" and i took the most recent one from here, which is for MBOX drivers and not MBOX PRO drivers. my bad!
