Terrible LOUD noise from TLSpace
I will attempt to describe this the best I can...
I'm using 10.2.0 (it happened on 10.0.0) upgrade from LE 8.0.3. Mac Pro 2 2.6ghz 12 gig memory OSX 10.6.8. The session has Superior Drummer (drum kit) and EZDrummer (Latin Perc) each on one stereo Instument Track, EZKeys, and XPand2 (Bass) each on their own stero instrument track. One Rhythm guitar track(audio track, with EQ3 7-Band, a a Fairchild 660). One TLSpace on a stereo Aux track being fed by buss 1-2. 64 sample buffer, delay comp is at maximum and the 1st rhythm git track is set to a -64 sample delay. Session is at 24 bit 48khz. I am overdubbing another guitar. ProTools is set to a 48 bar loop for rehearsal. The new guitar track is record enabled and set to stay on input. I am monitoring the new (live) guitar through ProTools because I've got the verb and a Fairchild 660 plugin on tha channel for 'comfort'.
This has only happened twice, but both times it also stopped ProTools. However, once the noise died out (the verb trail), ProTools and TLSpace work fine and since it happens rarely it probably won't happen again. The TLSpace channel meter pegs red, it must be a full scale spike, not white or pink noise, but almost like 100% input gain type of distortion. Also the Master pegs full scale. If monitoring relatively loud it will give you a heart attack. It doesn't happen a lot. It only happened once about 2 weeks ago, under 10.0.0, I upgraded hoping for a fix, along with every 5 minute crashes (which were fixed). TLSpace is at 9.0.2x53.
Any ideas, anybody else experience this?
