Default Carbon S/PDIF Output Invalid!!

Hi!
I am trying to use the optical S/PDIF output on my carbon as the monitor output. I've already set my ports to S/PDIF in Pro Tools. The i/o was also correctly set to "ADAT 1 1-2". However, I cannot get signal output from my carbon with S/PDIF. Instead, ADAT works perfectly, but my monitoring system only accepts optical S/PDIF. Does anyone have experience on using S/PDIF output on carbon? Thanks!

Using it at a studio (it feeds the monitoring chain) and it works perfectly. Are you up-to-date on everything?
Screenshots of the hardware page might help to verify settings.

Yes, I am running Pro Tools Ultimate 2022.12 with the latest Carbon firmware on MacOS 13.2, Apple Sillicon. What monitoring system are you using in the studio with the S/PDIF input? Actually, I was using a cheap optical to rca converter to run this test cause I don't have other optical S/PDIF devices with me right now. I'm wondering if there are compatibility issues between Carbon and this small converter.

Mostly likely it is the converter. I'm using the Hosa Optical SPDIF to AES/EBU converter on my system without issue.

We run direct (optical out to in). That one goes Carbon to a miniDSP box (and then miniDSP box to speakers)

The Hosa box (ODL-312) has been a solid unit for years for us in other capacities to go from optical to AES. (we use/used lots of those to get Toslink out from Mac Pro 5,1 computers into our monitoring systems.)

Cool! I will check the Hosa box. Thanks!
