Pro tools 7.1.2 wont create session at 48 KHZ
Hi everyone,
I've just installed a pro tools le 7.1.2 (windows xp) and it won't cretae sessions at 48 Khz. Message: "Could not create a new document because Pro tools could not set sample rate to specified value. Please exit all other audio applications and try again..." Anyone has a clue? Thanks |

What interface are you using and what is your clock source?

Have you tried switching the clock source to optical and then back to internal? Sometimes that works for me when changing sample rates. I've never used an MBox but you might try uninstalling PT and reinstalling it. If it's like an 003 the drivers will reinstall in the process of installing PT which may fix your problem if it's a driver issue.

Hi,
Problem solved. It was kind silly in fact. As I installed pro tools in a brand new computer, it has recognized mbox as the main audio device: this was resulting in somekind of conflict. I've changed the device an ot works! Thanks |
