Pro Tools 8.0.3 Won't Load. Hangs on loading screen

just get the screen that says Pro Tools is loading, but nothing happens after that.

Windows 7 -64 bit
Quad Core 9300
8 gb ram
Mpowered 8.0.3

When I open task manager to watch it load, it gets to about 73k then drops back down to 70k, stays in Task Manager, but doesn't do anything. The UI on the desktop that says loading protools never says anything. Please help! I can post Sandra, if necessary, just haven't downloaded it on new build.

after installing did you update your M-Audio drivers and trash PT preferences?

since I had just installed on this machine clean, I started over again, formatted drive and began installing. What I've found is that Music Production Toolkit installed with 8.0.3 was the culprit. PT's wouldn't load at all, I would get the loading screen and then it would just stay there. when I went into the task manager it would load about 70,000+ kb and stay there. this time I installed everything one at a time and found it was MPTK. Very frustrating. I will see if I can figure out away to get it to work, but for now, I'm operating ok without it. I do create some huge projects with tons of tracks, so we'll see if it becomes a problem or not.
