Anyone here ever work with Bjork?
I am such a huge fan both artistically and technically that I would love to ask a couple questions. Thanks.
Eric

Re: Anyone here ever work with Bjork?
You should check out Vespertine. This is her latest studio release. She has another one reported due early summer. Also check out her Family Tree box set. A pretty interesting collection of VERY rare recordings going WAY back in addition to a greatest hits disc.
She also has released a few concert DVDs over the last year or so. All of them are very good and worth a look. You are right, she is a bit quiet about these types of things but can you imagine trying to be the person doing her promoting?? Cripes! Take care. Eric

I haven't caught that yet. I have not heard. If it's not it would be nice to know who it is.
Anyone with a soundtrack?

MattiMM - are you in/from Iceland? I am completely intrigued by that country and the artists it has produced! Sigur Ros, GusGus - amazing!

Re: Anyone here ever work with Bjork?
Wow MMM, that is really hip! are you involved with her musically at all?
I have a friend that I went to school with from Reykjavik. He turned me on to Bjork, among other Icelandic music, years ago and since then I have been such a HUGE fan like I said. I only got the chance to see her live one time, that was a year or so ago in Chicago. The show was breathtaking! Matmos was with her and they did such a great job. Of all the people in the music world she is the one I would love to meet. I am not a starstruck type of person but she is so amazing. From what I know of her she really IS her music and that is so unique. Also, any of you Bjork fans (or not, just non-hollywood movie fans) that haven't seen Dancer in the Dark, I highly recommend that as well. An excellent film. Eric

Is that her on the credit roll of LOTR: Two Towers? It sure sounds like her if it's not.

Dancer in the dark is Good but I cant stand to watch it again.
For me Post and Homogenic are her most intriguing works.

At first, I thought that it might of been her at the end of Two Towers also. But, it is actually one of 4 other fem. voc.s. I can't remember which one sang the end credits.
