I agree with you there. Anyone who is considering picking up these bundles would be wise to choose the TDM version in order to keep their options open. At these prices, it would be a worthwhile investment for the future.

I checked the Sweetwater page, and their prices appear to reflect about 62.5% off of list, which is slightly better than buying from Waves direct. Strangely, the CLA bundle is still listed at the regular price, so perhaps they forgot to update that one.

I can't believe these prices. I just bought the SSL TDM Plugs this last Fall for $779 and I thought I was getting a great deal. Now it is only $487 at Sweetwater! That is almost half of what I paid. I also upgraded my Platinum Bundle a year ago from Native to TDM for $1000 bucks. Now you get the full TDM version for under $1000! This is insane! I can not believe it! Maybe the Mercury Upgrade is finally within reach for me.

Did anybody notice their new Auralex Exciter plug-in?

Yeah, there's been a little bit of discussion on Gearslutz about the Aural exciter. It's been pretty positive.

I'm on the fence about this. I have Platinum and CLA Signature Series and Compressors. I've gotten quotes that are the lowest I've seen in 3 years for Merc. Don't REALLY have the funds allocated... but this may be worth breaking the piggy bank for.

Trying to balance the "How many plugins do I REALLY need?" with the thought of having some tools I've been looking at for a while (Qclone, transmods and some of the API stuff).

Yeah. That is the hard thing for me too. Like you, I have the Platinum Bundle and the CLA Compressor and I never really saw anything in the Diamond Bundle that made it worth the upgrade for me. Mercury, on the other hand is nice because you get all the new plug-ins Waves releases as well as a bunch of their new stuff that isn't included in Diamond. However, I spend way to much money every year on plug-ins. I probably will pass this time around to get me a great hardware compressor or some API pre's.
