Beat Detective Question
Alright so here is my scenario,
I am no Pro Tools Pro - I will admit that up front. I have been using it for 10 years though - so I am decent. So bear with me here. Here are my questions - as short an concise as possible. I use PT9 BTW. Lets say I record a raw track of myself singing and playing guitar. I am pleased with the track - so I add in bass and drums. However, the guitar is great - but the bass and drums - not as tight as I would like. What can I do (if anything) in PT 9 with Beat Detective to tighten it all up? Is it even possible? Final note, would this have been much easier had I tracked the original guitar and vocal to a click track? How does that change Beat Detectives operations? In advance, THANK YOU! Alba |

Re: Beat Detective Question
Recording to a Click is preferable however with Elastic Audio organic can still be tight.
