EuControl is now a piece of crap with Logic 10.1

It crashes. It causes Logic to crash. I get a spinning beach ball when I attempt to store a layout.

Hurry up.

Hire some people. Make fixing this into a priority. We've waited long enough.

It just randomly decided to switch to Safari, all the faders went dead. No way to get them back without rebooting. "Restart EUCON applications" is useless.

The plugins shown on the screens do not match what is on the actual channels (aux). Sometimes the label is missing yet the green light for on/off works.

ETC. ETC. ETC.

And now I can't even go back to a prior version of EuCon because Logic 10.1 won't work with anything else.

Aha! I've been saying this all along! These crashes happened to me before Logic even went to 10.1!
At least i'm glad to see I wasn't the only one. And yes! Fix it already!

Hi Robertg,
what version of OS X are you on?
I have to say that I haven't had any crashes on Eucon 3.2.1 with OS X 10.9.5 and Logic 10.1.

The same problems here. I am using Logic 10.1 and EuControl 3.2.1, Hardware is a Mac Pro 6c.

Artist Control and MC Transport are working ok, but if ever I switch on the two Artist Mixes, Logic AND EuControl crash.

Please hurry up, AVID, we need a solution!

Same issue here on my System 5 console. Wee need a fix ASAP please.

10.0.2, LP 10.1.0, 3.2.1 (Logic won't work with earlier EuCon.)

Crashes, freezes and more.

The worst: can't control buss send amounts anymore, touching the rotary encoder sends the value to -infinity (or no send).

Apple has been able to update their OS twice and not a single EuCon release. #why?

Those of you on Yosemite please try upgrading to 10.10.2. We believe Apple resolved this issue in that release, so let us know.

Keep in mind that we are working as fast as we can to get EuControl 3.2.2 out for official Yosemite support.

Upgrading to 10.10.2 fixes nothing with Logic X 10.1. If I touch the knob on Artist Control for panning, Logic X freezes and becomes unresponsive from the Artist Control but not the software. This happened after the 10.1 upgrade to Logic.

I was looking at upgrading to an S3 but I think I will start looking at other options. Avid is never responsive enough with fixes compared to any other software and hardware vendors that I have owned equipment from. The fact there is still no support for Yosemite is pathetic.

What happens if you go to Preferences>Audio and change to System Settings for Audio Device? Does Logic no longer freeze?
