Kontakt 6 is explicitly Big Sur compatible. Omnisphere only says High Sierra or higher.

That stuff often begins to happen with old keyboards. My aging Keystation 88 sends the odd CC1 0 once in a while if I have the mod wheel all the way down. I use a lot of Spitfire VIs which use CC1 to crossfade through dynamic levels on long articulations. It made those nearly unusable until I got myself a cheap little Korg NanoKontrol. Now I leave my mod wheel in the middle, and use the NanoKontrol for all CCs. Works great, despite a very short fader throw. Basically, a keyboard that is sending random Channel Volume 0s will need to be replaced before long.

I'm thinking of stepping up to the Komplete Kontrol S88, which I believe is what both Guy Michelmore and Rick Beato use. They kind of live on them, so they must be pretty good. Cheaper than a Doepfer.

I've heard nothing but good things about any of the NI keyboards; I think they use Fatar keybeds. Stay away from the IKMM 'boards - those don't last.

My ancient Motif 7 sends out the odd cc7 messages.
