Toggle Track View not working (waveform/volume/etc)

I'm very used to using the minus key to toggle between track views or to use Option-Minus to toggle on all tracks.

The Pro-Tools 9 Shortcuts guide indicates this should still be possible, as it lists

Toggle Track View on all tracks ==> Option+Minus (–) key (on QWERTY keyboard)

This however is not working for me. Is there something I've done to turn off this functionality? I know I can use CTRL-Command plus left or right arrow to do something similar however I'd rather use the minus key.

Anyone have ideas?

Are you sure the key command focus is on the edit window - [A-Z] box highlighted for the edit window?

Also, adding the control key to the Option+Minus keystroke should make it happen, even if key command is not focussed on the edit window.

I've tried with and without the A-Z button clicked with same non-results. I figured it was maybe related to expose or something like that, but i've got all of that disabled

This has to be some type of preference setting but I'm lost as to where it would be. Anyone with ideas?
