New PT user please help????

I finally just got a Digi 002 and pro tools 6.7 today

I have installed the software on a fresh partition and fresh install of OSX 10.4
I turn the 002 on open pro tools and before the pro tools loading pic even disapears I get this error message

Digi Design Hardware in use by another application
(-1133)

any ideas I have no other aplications open at all and the 002 isnt showing in sound in system preferences either??

Hmmm Was moving to PT from digital performer a good idea after all

Did you buy it used? 6.7 is a very old version of Pro Tools at this point.

Pro Tools LE 6.7 will not work with OSX 10.4. You need to either update to Pro Tools LE 6.9.2 for free here: http://www.digidesign.com/index.cfm?...54&itemid=5171

Or, paid upgrade to 7.4 here:
