Mutes not working on start up- Please help
If I save a project with mutes on certain tracks, close the project and then re-open ..the tracks that I want muted have the mute buttons orange but the tracks play. I have to manually unmute then mute again, A real pain . Any ideas as to why. Am I missing something.

What numeric version of Pro Tools are you using please?

Yeah, that's a bug that was corrected in newer versions. Unfortunately, you can't upgrade since you are using the 001.
Make sure you are at least using 6.4cs9, though I'm pretty sure that fix wasn't handled until 6.7 or 6.9. Sorry.
