under import session data, currently if you want to import plug in settings you have to import plug in automation. they are tied together. can they be separated?
when using a previous set of plug in settings for a different song as a starting point, you (usually!) don't want plug in automation from a different song. some plugs don't change color of automate-able things, so its hard to tell sometimes. |

As a workaround:
import your data, then save it as a Preset, then undo your Import Session Data. Preset is still in the preset menu, then can load it. |

don't think they can be separated, but many of us have empty tracks in a session that have our favorite plug-ins already inserted. They are all in default mode, so I import those, and then import audio to the region bin. Just region group them before you import them.
