Default Trouble getting MOTU Ethno Inst. to show up

hi, i'm running LE 7.3.1 and did a complete install of MOTU Ethno and can't seem to get it to come up as an RTAS plugin. i've got it up fine as a VST plug in Cubase etc. but want to use it in PT. for the VST i had to move the dll file into a VST folder in Cubase to see it. do i need to do something similar in PT? i've looked for a folder that would make sense to put a dll file into but not sure where it should go. a bit confused. thanks!!

You shouldn't have to move any dll files to get it to work so check to make sure it installed correctly. I don't remember if Ethno asks which version(s) to install - whether VST or RTAS - but some plugs do. I didn't have the same trouble but was using PT 6.7 at the time i installed it.

If you want to move the dll files, your plug-ins should be in:
System Drive/Program Files/Common Files/Digidesign/DAE/Plug-Ins

Hope that helps!

also note that the RTAS version needs the included iLok to run. Make sure you have the latest PACE drivers here.
