Hello gang -
Pro Tools working fine here, but if I set the output from the Atmos Renderer (3.7.2) to HDX, there is quiet but regular and persistent snapping, sounding very much like some kind of sync issue. Hardware is: Mac Pro 2019/12-core/96GB/10.15.7 Pro Tools 2022.4 Atmos renderer 3.7.2 The snaps happen when tone is generated in the renderer, or any other audio of course. Clean when audio is from Pro Tools direct to HDX> The MTRX shares the HDX with an HDOMNI and 192/IO. Have not tried disconnecting those yet - a bit of a thing to do that. Any ideas? |

I should add that everything in the room, including all core drivers, is at 48K

are you on switch or sum in the Mon section of DADman? If on sum, change it to switch and only select the Audio Bridge source.

What's your clocking scheme for all of your peripherals? You can access the Hardware Setup for your DigiLink peripherals for the CoreAudio driver by accessing AudioMIDISetup -> Configure Device. What is DADman set to for Clock Source, Adapt to, etc?

Hi Jeff -
I don't have a sync peripheral. I had not looked in AudioMIDISetup actually, other than to verify sample rate. Interestingly, the Configure Device route to the Hardware Setup window has HDX#1 Port 1 set to SYNC HD as Clock Master - and the menu is greyed out. Is that a hint of something? Here are a couple of screencaps. This was not happening in the room where the MTRX Studio is the only interface, so I guess one must suspect sync between the MTRX Studio here and the IFs on the other port. |

Under Applications/Utilities/Audio MIDI Setup / try toggling the Clock Source as shown between the 2 sets of DigiLink ports.
