'Groups' is flakey, and ignores Midi tracks.

Perhaps I'm doing something wrong?

I have three acoustic drum takes from a midi transcript session, along with their corresponding midi (19 tracks per take).

For the life of me I cannot get either MIDI or Instrument tracks to follow when changing Playlists. Very tiresome.

Meanwhile I'm gone back to doing all MIDI work in Logic Pro X so I can get work done, but a solution would be preferable.
