Automation Does NOT Follow Edit

man, this bug is killing me! i'm editing audiobooks and corporate stuff and it's been premixed and when i make trims in shuffle mode i'm not getting consistent movement with the automation breakpoints. i REALLY hope this is fixed for 8.0, otherwise my brain is gonna explode. basically, i just doubled my work thanks to this bug. if i sent it back to the mixer with their automation all jacked up i would be dead meat, not to mention PAYING them for the lost work. toggling between waveform and volume views is not time efficient.

Go to the "Options" menu and make sure "Automation Follows Edit" is checked.
